My Kit Co are a beautiful makeup brush brand, which you lovely guys can go check out by clicking here.
June 15th saw the launch of the hub to My Kit Co, in Stockport. There are 3 parts of the hub, the store, academy and studio, and the store is open for everyone to go to so it is 100% worth popping down and picking up some products!!
My beaut friends over at Palette headed down to the hub, and had a sneak peak at the new collection, which I am SOOOOOO jealous of, but they promised me that there are so many amazing things to come, so make sure you guys keep an eye out for them to hit the store!
The hub is, like I mentioned earlier, split up into 3 parts: Store, Academy and Studio. The store is open for everyone to go in and browse and shop so have a plan of when you are going to pop down! The studio is a beautifully perfect location for anyone who is looking to increase their portfolio and have a play around with creativity. You can head straight into the studio and your looks can be caught there, how perfect is that for anyone looking to build their portfolio?!
The Academy location really is perfect, it is an open spaced filled wth heaps of natural light, which anyone in the makeup industry knows is perfect for creating them all important looks! James Molloy is the head of the Academy, which in itself is insane! James, (just go and check is insta out, his work is amazing!), has over 17 years in the beauty industry and has worked alongside many huge editorial magazines such as Vogue, and is the co-founder of My Kit Co. Passionate about the beauty industry, and wanting to share his knowledge with the budding stars of the beauty industry, James offers a Portfolio Building Beauty Workshop, based in the hub. The workshop is spread across 3 days and allows you to work closely with James, learning the ins and outs of beauty, and observing his every move. It is a very intimate workshop, with only 6 spaces, so it really is a once in a lifetime chance to have such an experienced and talented makeup artist teaching you.
What do you think of My Kit Co? Let me know if you go down and buy anything, I’d love to see what you guys get!
