My weekend at Fusion Festival 2017

The 2nd and 3rd September saw something pretty big hit Liverpool, and that was in the form of the ever amazing Fusion Festival. The absolute darlings over at Dawbell PR, invited me down for the weekend, and anyone who knows me, knows that I was buzzing to have been invited for one reason only… Take That.  I am a huge Take That fan, and some would say that for someone of 20 years old, that is fairly strange? But, I don’t even deny the fact, that I fully love Take That, and when I saw that I had been invited to Fusion, I was naturally over the moon!

The weather across the weekend was pretty indecisive, going from hot to cold, to rain to storm – so you could say that I was very underprepared for the weather in my outfit choices. But despite the weather, I had such an amazing weekend, all thanks to the wonderful staff at Dawbell, and everyone who worked at Fusion Festival.

The weekend saw me catching up with old friends who, I had not seen in months and some even years! And then saw me dancing the day away, listening to some pretty amazing artists. I was really excited to see Tinie Tempah again. I have seen Tinie Tempah numerous times live, and each time, he does not disappoint. Fusion Festival was again, an immaculate performance, from Tinie, who really does know just how to get the crowd on their feet and absolutely buzzed.

My personal highlight of the entire weekend has got to be, Take That. Take That hands down took the prize for best performance, both vocally and visually, and put on a full 90-minute set, which was insane! And we can’t forget about their perfectly choreographed dance moves! With timeless classics, and newer material, Take That catered for every generation – and me and my friends sung none stop from the beginning to the end. Just look how much we were enjoing ourselves during Never Forget!

Apart from music, there was so much to do at Fusion, ranging from taking a trip on a classic fairground ride to going in a 180-degree Mcflurry photo booth! We tried to fit 9 of us into a very small space, and all tried jumping at once, which as you can see – didn’t go to plan. Nevertheless, it was a really fun experience and is just another reason as to why I love Fusion Festival – always giving you that little bit more than other festivals.

I’d like to take this moment, to just give a huge shout out to amazing clothing company Forty Clothing. Forty Clothing have some beautiful tops, hoodies, jumpers etc – and their designs are so cool, they even have glow in the dark tops! The guys at Forty Clothing really looked after me and provided me with tops and hoodies for when it got cold, and I have literally not stopped wearing the hoodie since it is THE comfiest hoodie I have ever owned! So make sure you guys all go and check them out, and get yourself a gorgeous hoodie – I totally recommend!
