Parklife 2018 line up announcement & a look back on Parklife 2017

One of the most anticipated announcements for Parklife lovers all over, of course, I’m on about the line up for this years Parklife festival. The annual festival held at Heaton Park, Manchester, will take place on 9th and 10th June this year, and you can get tickets here!

The line up for this years Parklife is pretty insane with one of the headliners being Manchester’s very own Mr Liam Gallagher – so you are certainly in for a good weekend. Liam is set to join other artists such as The XX, Skepta, N.E.R.D and Lorde to name but a few, with the Parklife organisers once again outdoing themselves and topping last years incredible lineup! Screen Shot 2018-01-30 at 18.47.49

The announcement of Parklife 2018 got me ready to look back at what an amazing time I had last year, to describe it in one word I’d have to go with muddy! I was that person who turned up to Parklife in white pumps, which, I’ll be honest with you didn’t even make it home that night! I was lucky enough to be invited along to such an iconic Manchester festival to cover it, which you can read my full account here!  A moment which will last forever with me from Parklife 2017 was something which touched the hearts of everyone there, when The 1975 Frontman Matty Healy asked the fans at Parklife to join him in a moment of noise, instead of a moment of silence, in a tribute to the 22 people who tragically lost their lives at the Manchester bombing. It was a moment that sent shivers down my spine, and one which I will never forget.

If Parklife 2017 is anything to go by, this year is going to be bigger and better so I suggest getting your tickets sorted before they sell out, so set them alarms for 9am THIS THURSDAY!! Just don’t forget your wellies….
